3. Purchases And Refunds
You must provide us with your full legal name and a valid credit card to make a transaction through Site. All payments are processed by PayPal (https://paypal.com) or Stripe (https://stripe.com/) and are subject to additional provisions. We will send you a confirmation email confirming that your request has been processed and that payment was received. In the event we ship item(s) to you we will send a confirmation email to you regarding the same. Purchases may be refunded in full, minus applicable processing fees, up to 30 days from purchase date.
Please note that we put a lot of effort on our sales pages to explain exactly what you get when you purchase our products, so please make sure that you read the pages carefully and watch the demo video of the product you’re buying. In cases where the customer didn’t read the sales page, or he didn’t understand what he was buying, or he thought he was buying something we did not state on the sales page, we reserve the right to give a partial refund so we cover the processing fee cost and the cost of the system which enrolls the student in the course after the purchase which we don’t want to pay in the case the customer was too lazy to inform himself of the product he’s buying. The same rules apply if the customer buys a course from us, and he doesn’t go through at least 50% of the course lectures and then requests a refund, we reserve the right to give a partial refund, again, to cover the mentioned costs.
Another thing to note is we focus on teaching the fundamentals of game development. These fundamentals never change, they always stay the same because they are the foundation of how any game is created. This is important to know because game engines are being upgraded all the time and new versions come out. What we teach works in every game engine version be that Unity or Unreal. So if some sections in our courses are not using the latest engine version you’ll still learn the fundamental concepts you can apply to the latest version. Because of that, we don’t give refunds if someone thinks that he’ll not learn with a prior version of the engine. We’re basically teaching you to drive a car, so no matter if we’re using a Volkswagen from 2016, the same driving principles apply to Volkswagen 2022, 2030, and 2100. And these principles apply to other engines as well. Of course, we update our courses by adding new sections, so you’ll be up to date, but we focus on the fundamentals or the core principles of game programming which are not affected by the engine version.
If you make a purchase on our website, then request a refund and receive a refund. Then you come back and purchase from us again, be that the same product or a different product, in that case we don’t offer a money back guarantee should you request a refund again.
